Jarpsy are a four-piece indie alt-rock band from the North-East of England, whose wild gigs and eclectic songwriting have led them to be rightfully recognised among the hottest up-and-comers of the UK underground scene. This limitless potential has not gone unnoticed by the music industry – Jarpsy have forged close links and worked with a wide array of big names who plucked the four-piece from obscurity after noticing their obvious skill and hard-driven DIY work ethic. Sticky Fingers, The Fratellis, The Delta Riggs and Will and the People are among the acts that can be found in Jarpsy’s ever-thickening address book of contacts, sponsors and supporters.

Despite their recording efforts, Jarpsy pride themselves on being a band to be experienced live. Every song written and show played remind audiences of Jarpsy’s effortless punch, energy and swagger, more than earning their reputation as purveyors of the loudest, bounciest and sweatiest gigs to come from the North-East in a generation. The true power of Jarpsy can only be found in the midst of a crowd of people, singing your heart out with a drink in your hand – a fact to which audiences the length and breadth of the UK can attest, everywhere from Newcastle’s City Hall to Soho’s Spice of Life.

Forming in late 2017, BALTIC soon found their footing in the grassroots music scene of Newcastle. Scoring festivals and many support slots within their 1st year the band knew they were prepared to make a name for themselves. Following their quick start toward success they released a run of demo singles in 2019 which landed them placements in Spotify editorial playlists, a main stage festival slot, 2 sold out headline shows, Soccer AM: New Music playlist and support slots for Peter Doherty and Supergrass .The range of influence from classic rock of the 60’s and 70’s and pop elements of the current generation blends to create a unique sound for this band.
